I’m in Alive Magazine this Month: Cooking With Kids

September 2, 2013 1 Comment

Check out my article and recipes (“Cooking With Kids”) in Alive Magazine this month! It’s definitely one of my favourite publications to write recipes for because of its healthy, open-minded approach to food. Thanks to the great editors there who helped make the article come to life.

I dare you to have as much fun making the Pistachio Mousse-tachios as I did.

Here’s the whole article, which features recipes for Zack’s Healthy Pancakes, Squish Squash Burgers with Sweet Maple Carrot and Cabbage Slaw, and Quick Homemade Ketchup (I really squashed a lot of recipes into one with this one… Horrible, horrible joke), Mile-High Mission-Style Chicken Burritos with Salsa Fresca and Guac, Freckled Vanilla Ghost Pops, and Pistachio Mousse-tachios.

Pick up a copy of the free magazine in a health store near you. there’s a store locator on the right side bar of the Alive website. Go to any of the links above to find it.

Everything Else alive magazine, chicken burritos, cooking with kids, freckled ghost pops, healthy recipe for kids, homemade ketchup, maple slaw, pistachio mousse-tachios, squish squash burgers

Cool article! The recipes look like a lot of fun, too.
