Request: How to create a mailing list on WordPress

May 28, 2011 MissWattson Leave a Comment

Dear readers,

I have a small favour to ask. Do any of you know how to create a mailing list and then add a “subscribe to mailing list” button on my blog? The template that I’m using doesn’t seem to allow for this unless you add your own code, and I don’t really have a coding background. I also don’t know how to create a mailing list database. I currently have a weekly newsletter made up of friends and family who won’t hate that I added them without most of them having asked.

So if anyone out there knows how to create a simple mailing list and tab to take the reader to a page to sign up for said mailing list, please please please let me know. There could be some lucuma ice cream in it for you!! Or we can discuss other culinary bargains if smooth, sweet, hard-to-find exotic ice cream flavours aren’t your thing.

Thanks,

Amie
