Where to Eat during the Montreal Grand Prix: From Fine Dining Restaurants to Food Trucks on Global Television

June 8, 2018 MissWattson Leave a Comment

I was on Global Television in Montreal this morning to talk about the Auberge St-Gabriel, New City Gas’ Moet City brunch, Makro (a new seafood restaurant in Griffintown), and RUBS’ slow-cooked BBQ food truck and Charlie’s Shack food trucks at Square Dorchester at Peel and Rene-Levesque, where the trucks’ll be set up for the weekend. Thanks to RUBS and Charlie’s Shack for the food!

What I didn’t mention was that Makro has an adjacent speakeasy with by-the-slice wood-fired pizza, so you go there for an affordable slice and a party if you want to stay out of the Old Port and off Crescent and Peel Streets.

You’ll probably see just as many Porsches…
