Multiculturiosity Cooking and Canning Demo this Sunday at the Ile-des-Soeurs (Nun’s Island) Farmers Market

I’ll be at the Nun’s Island (Ile-des-Soeurs) farmers market this Sunday at noon doing a cooking demo, followed by a canning demo. Pop by the market to sample some Indian cauliflower with ginger, grilled zucchini or organic Toulouse sausage with Quebec canteloupe, and sweet leeks vinaigrette.Stick around for the canning workshop from 1-3. I’ll be doing dill pickles and wild blueberry jam. Pre-register for the canning workshop by calling Zarghona at 514-553-4384.

And if food isn’t enough to convince you to come, there will also be music. Not my music. Probably better music. Folky, market-y music. Ooh! And it’s all organic. the music too.
