This week I interviewed Gaelle Janvier of the Rooftop Gardens Project run out of social justice NGO Alternatives in Montreal. We spoke about container gardening, the McGill and UQAM campuses, Santropol Roulant, Crudessence on top of the Palais de Congres, workshops, cooking demos, harvest parties coming up in Montreal, and how organizations can reach out to the Rooftop Garden Project for help starting their own projects.We also spoke about the 15,000 signatures the Rooftop Gardens Projects is looking for to get a public consultation on the state of urban agriculture in Montreal.
