Quebec Maple Water on Midnight Poutine: Maple Smoothies, Milkshakes and Old Fashioneds

Here’s my latest article on Midnight Poutine. I delve into the new maple water produced by Seva and Oviva in Quebec. Best to keep it in the fridge to preserve the quality. Also best to drink it pre-gardening for some green-thumbed vim and vigour. That’s where I’m off to right now, high on maple water and anti-inflammatories for my missing wisdom tooth. Did you know there’s something in the anesthesia they give you that can make you dizzy? I sure was dizzy all day after the surgery, even after a healthy lunch of juice and cooled soup. None of this has anything to do with maple water except that it’s a good juice replacement.

Oh, and for the raw foodists out there, you should know that it’s not raw. They boil it to kill any bad bacteria or other things that could infect the water during a long storage period. There are, however, no preservatives. Enjoy!
